Hi my name
is Firoz Yusuf. I am here today to tell
you that I made my own petition about keeping the Challenge Program. It says “Save Our Challenge! If you want to be able to choose faster-paced
and more challenging classes in junior high please sign below!”
I brought
this petition to school and I took it out to recess and got 35 signatures from
kids who want to go into Challenge when they start Junior High. Three kids said that they didn’t want to go
into Challenge and didn’t want to sign, so I said, “ok that’s fine.” A lot of the kids that I talked to knew what
Challenge was, and the others signed after we talked about it. Thank you.
