• MS will have 4 block days plus a 1-6, advisory
• 6-8 are critical years for exploration and development.
• anxiety increases
• Academic and social anxiety
• District and Task force will put together a survey and task force will interpret results
• Tracking leads to fixed mindset but kids track themselves by schedule choices
• teacher teams will decide if compacted 7/8 math is self select or not
• Why do we have AP in high school that is self select but now considering removing self select challenge in middle school?
