Hello, my
name is Zahid Yusuf and I'm in 7th grade AAP classes. I think challenge classes
are important to a lot of people because they offer a level of instruction and
a faster pace that is different from Gen Ed, and that students do need to have
a positive learning experience. Before I was taking EAP or AAP courses, I often
felt very bored and overall dissatisfied with my own learning experience, so I
know how important harder curriculum can be. I believe Challenge does matter to
a lot of people and it will significantly affect their lives in a negative way
if it is taken away.
We believe that Challenge/Honors classes are critical for all kids who choose a more rigorous educational path, and we also believe that children should be able to choose NOT to take Challenge classes if that is not the right path for them. Join us in our mission to Save the Self-Select Challenge Program.
