My name is Jackson Connelly, I am in sixth grade at xxx Elementary. Next year I am going to xxx Junior High. I am participating in all challenge classes, by my own choosing. This is because I wish to be in a class room with people who are serious about learning, and I wish to be challenged.
Now I have heard that the teachers are wanting to get rid of the challenge program. I am confused by this, because that would mean getting rid of a program that gives more projects, digs deeper into subjects, and provokes class room discussions.
So why do you want to get rid of a program that challenges students to be their best?

We believe that Challenge/Honors classes are critical for all kids who choose a more rigorous educational path, and we also believe that children should be able to choose NOT to take Challenge classes if that is not the right path for them.
